  1. boulardii is good at preventing and easing antibiotic-associated diarrhea. It also prevents inflammation and supports good bacteria. L. acidophilus is good at treating and preventing infections. It also reduces the side effects of antibiotics such as diarrhea.

Probiotics are safe. They are even prescribed to take during a course of antibiotics. They're especially helpful afterward for supporting the health of your gut microbiome.

 

  • Take prebiotics

Prebiotics are foods for probiotics. Good bacteria in your gut feast on them, and they turn these substances into nutrients that nourish the gut lining. They help keep your gut balanced by encouraging the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. Just like probiotics, prebiotics help boosts immune function, and maintain a healthy digestive system. Furthermore, prebiotic foods are known to promote a healthy metabolism and maintain overall good health.
